My heat doesn’t work

Before you give us a call, check to make sure the thermostat is in fact displaying something and set to heat. Also, please make sure you have a clean filter installed.

Nothing displaying on thermostat

First, please verify that the thermostat does or doesn’t run on batteries. If it does, when is last time you have changed the batteries? (It's recommended that batteries be changed at daylight savings time). If batteries are good, make sure the breaker isn’t tripped and that the furnace service switch is switched on.

No cool air coming from vents

Please check to make sure that your thermostat is set to cooling and that the set temperature is lower than room temperature. If that doesn’t seem to work, please give us a call.

Do you service my unit?

What type of Heating and Cooling equipment do you install?

We believe that Goodman equipment is the best heating and cooling equipment on the market today and that’s why we have choose to install Goodman products.

Do you have 24/7 service?

M.I. Heating and Cooling is here 24/7 to support you and your family to be comfortable in your home.

Do you install water heaters?

Yes we will gladly help you get a water heater installed for you and your family. We install again only the best in the industry and that’s A.O. Smith line of water heaters.

Can I get a preventative maintenance contract?

We would love to talk to you about setting up a routine maintenance schedule. The best way to prevent a break down is to keep up on maintenance. We can recommend a frequency for your particular situation though most residential systems should be checked twice a year (once for heating season once for cooling season).

Do I get a warranty with service/install?

Absolutely! We stand 100 % behind our work. Our service warranty is 1 year on parts. Our install warranty is 1 year on labor plus Goodman standard equipment warranty. We also handle the registration of the Goodman equipment for you also.
